OK so here’s a slightly longer and more honest update:
I’m having computer problems, too.
It’s embarrassing but I’ve apparently fallen victim to the late-2011 MacBook Pro GPU failure that is rapidly becoming a big issue for everyone with this make and model, and I hope Apple addresses it soon! I basically run my whole life from my MacBook Pro, so when the laptop started failing in mid-August, it caused a lot of havoc, and it could not have come at a worse time for me professionally. (This is also why I haven’t been posting my usual women-in-comics shenanigans on Tumblr so much lately.)
Rest assured, though, that I am A Pro(™) and I am working to resolve this as soon as I can.
SO HERE’S AN ACTUAL UPDATE: I have selected all five artists for the book, but they have not been officially contacted yet. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD ARTISTS and I’m very happy and I cannot wait to contact them. I have not made any final decisions regarding writers yet.
